My Son 1

After a week of hotel living after

arriving in Arizona, we moved to a

temporary stay service apartment.

We were happy that our living space

became wider,

until we realized that this would create

"A room that never opens".

My son, who was still an elementary school

kid inside me, was becoming an adolescent.

This was only a beginning of Mole's

puzzled life with a boy.

The door opens only when in need,

and he heads straight to his destination.

During dinner preparation,

....

Even under the same roof,

Gen Z always communicating via SNS,

seems living far away.

Before moving to Arizona, my daughter and son were studying abroad in New Zealand. My son Z Taro left Japan at the end of the sixth grade and spent two and a half years in NZ before living with his parents again in Arizona. There are many new discoveries in my parent-child relationship, after some time, and is unique. The image of the child is still adorable (which is also a problem😁), but the child is definitely growing up, voice is changing, becoming taller and thoughts are becoming more complicated ... He has transformed into a living thing beyond Mole's imagination. To see your son grow is a mixture of happiness and loneliness 💦 Our adventure continues!

About Mole

I graduated from the University of Arts in London.  After returning to Japan, I gave birth to a daughter and a son.  Few years later, the family moved to Switzerland for 3 years due to husband's second overseas posting and wrote a comedy blog which constantly recorded 20,000 accesses a day.  Follow me on Twitter and Instagram, I will write update information and behind-the-scenes stories!😊  ( Continue to Profile page ︎)
