University in AZ 2:Crazy rich
One day, we had a discussion with the theme of "Happiness".
(Mole)
"Well, let me see ... Health, Family ...
Money is also needed ..."
Chinese Guys, who are usually mute,
exploded babble! 😱
( Han )
"Love and Relationship are important,
but those alone does not make us happy!
Without money, I can't support my family and I can't live.
It's hell.
I want to live a life buying luxury clothes,
cars and home, traveling to my favorite places
and eating what I want. "
( Jason )
"I totally agree. I want to become like my friend in LA.
His parents bought him two Ferraris for his birthday present.
His pajamas are Gucci!
His parents always travel by helicopter and private jet. "
"Is giving luxury cars bad for children's education?
What's wrong about spending your own money?
Their kids are also gonna become super rich anyway. "
( Bruce )
"Money doesn't get in the way,
so better spend them, if you have it.
My friend's family has a LUX home in LA,
as huge as a hotel, and they often have parties there.
I don't have to be that rich, but I dream about it. "
"By the way, all Chinese parents love money.
Make children rich and live a secure retired life, is the norm.
They want their children to become doctors, lawyers, finance.
So they can have stable job with good money. "
It seems there are extraordinary
Asian Riches in LA. And Chinese love money !!
Mole strongly felt China Power
by coming to the United States.
Looking back Mole's childhood, when Japanese economy was rapidly growing, material enrichment such as goods at home and repeated overseas trips were also symbol of family happiness. I can understand that Chinese guys' remarks are straightforward feeling. Anyway I enjoyed gorgeous stories which was just like seeing the real "Crazy Rich Asians!" 😂 Conversly, Saudi guys competed with Chinese guys. They put "community and family" first, and had a different angle of happiness. ( Next, "American University: National Pattern 3" ▶ ︎)
